11/05/20 - Line

Today's theme is line and choose to take photos of telephone lines on the heath, I wanted to create a contrast between the mechanical, man-made phone lines and the natural surroundings. I decided to focus this shoot on phone lines because of the way they capture the leading lines technique, which helps draw your eye throughout the photos. To edit this photographs I wanted to enhance the blue of the sky drawing more attention to the dark phone lines in addition, the sky provides a clear and simple backdrop for the telephone lines; overall creating a minimalist look which is what I believe makes these photographs successful.
