20/05/20 - Man-Made

Today's theme was man-made and decided to take photographs of makeup. I wanted to make this shoot have an editorial finish to it to best show off the make up and all the different shapes that can be found in the products. I was inspired by the images below that I found on Pinterest. I took this shoot outside in the natural sunset to be able to capture the sparkle found within some of the products, in addition, I used natural sunlight to get the sharpest shadows that I could. I incorporated flowers to the photos to add a contrasts between the man-made makeup and the natural flowers however both could be considered beautiful in their own rights. To edit these images I simply enhanced the colours of the beauty products to make them more vibrant and dramatic. Overall, I like how minimalist yet eye catching this shoot is.
