21/05/20 - Shadow

For today's theme I went out of my comfort zone and decided to do a series of self-portraits. As today's theme was shadow I wanted to make these images very striking and to do so I collected a few objects that I found at home that would create some interesting shadows/patterns, to achieve the look of the background I placed one of the objects in front of a torch which made these shadows as sharp as possible. In contrast to the dramatic shadows I wanted to pose in a minimalist fashion so that the shadows would be the main feature of the shoot. Although this still photography is out of my comfort zone I thought this shoot was actually quite successful and successfully displays today's topic.
